The girls are blessed enough to have amazing coaches to lead them to victory. As well as having had prior field hockey experience outside of the rattlers team.

Many, if not all of the varsity girls have had a lot of field hockey experience outside of the rattlers team, including;

  • Playing in middle school
  • Traveling to play in tournaments
  • Club teams
  • Indoor field hockey

“I play club field hockey and constantly travel throughout the year,” Hannah Dunfee (jersey number 8) says.

The girls on the team all have a strong bond and are very comfortable with each other. Everybody gets along which contributes to their success as a whole.

“I love this team, some of these players have been with me throughout all my years of hockey. I have built life-long friendships in this team and so many memories. I feel like everyone on this team has become like my family to me and I’ll never forget them even after not being a part of it” says Bethanie Nishiyama (jersey number 13).

“I love this team and wouldn’t ask for any other teammates to play with especially for my first season of high school field hockey” London Jones (jersey number 35) says.

“I think we work so well together because of how long we have all known each other. Some of that comes with friendships throughout the team but we have all grown together since our middle school team” Nishiyama comments.

“Our team works so well because we have a strong connection with each other and we really push and support each other throughout not only field hockey but through our life problems” Dunfee stated.
