Men’s volleyball takes home second place in Sweetwater Tournament

With their spikes,  digs, and serves  the team tore through the tournament brackets,  showing off their  teamwork and determination in every match. Led by Coach Taylor, the players showed real resilience and grit in every match.

“It was an incredible journey for us,”  said team captain, Kai Rast . “We faced tough opponents, but we stuck together as a team and gave it our all and worked very hard. 

Throughout the tournament, Canyon Hills blended their skill and strategy, executing precise plays and adapting to each opponent’s tactics and shutting them out completely . 

“We may not have taken home the trophy, but we fought with all our heart until the very end,” said Matthew Lopes-Hortareas, a key player on the team. “This experience has brought us closer together as a team, and we’re proud of what we achieved.”

As the sun sets on the tournament, the Canyon Hills volleyball team celebrates its achievements, the players look forward to future opportunities to showcase their talent and continue their pursuit of excellence on the court.
