Hello Rattler Nation!

We had a great week this week! We had a winter sports meeting; Volleyball and Field Hockey are winning and continuing playoffs. Water polo and tennis also gave it their all, and we are proud of them! Football is tonight at Point Loma and is the last game of the season. Volleyball plays as well at Helix in playoffs. Go Rattlers! Try out Sports information on chrattlers.com.

School Newspaper:

We also have a new platform for our school paper/Journalism class, “The Canyon Hills Chronicle,” and it is online! No more paper! They are doing a fantastic job! So exciting to get this modernized, and a huge thank you to Rachel Brandel, who teaches the course.

Leader in Me:

CHHS has developed a student advocacy group called Leader in Me. CHHS adults on campus want students to have a voice and make and create the experience they want here at the school now and in the future. Adults making decisions is essential but why make them when students can! We have been working on this for a year now, and it is starting to come to fruition. Stay tuned as we progress through this process but here is s a picture of all the student leaders from all the grades together and empowered!
