Babytron’s New Album: Hopefully The Next One Is Better

he artist Babytron released his new anticipated album Megtron 2. The artist had posted on his Instagram back on August 29 that his new project would drop. Fans were obviously very excited as the first Megatron was the album that really solidified himself as a new up coming rapper.

Babytron’s new album seems repetitive from last one and got burnt out.

The Album delivered new beats and I loved them, they were different, and very energetic. For Example in the song “Down, UP!” he used the Pacer Test as his beat and pretty much just started freestyling. He also had another song called “Kai Cenat/ Old day” featuring the artist Luh Taylor. This song is also great. He combines two songs and puts them in the track. He also mentions the social media influencer Kai Cenat who is taking the world by storm. But for the new people who just started listening to him he has always rapped like this. Another catchy song from the album is “Stutter Flow”, in this song he just freestyled while strutting.

Although I mentioned a lot of things I liked , for the most part I was not a big fan of the album. Usually I would love at least 70 percent of the songs. This time I only liked a good 20 percent. The reason I say that is because for some reason most of the songs were predictable, almost like if he was using the same words from other songs. It felt nothing new and I’ve felt like this for a while. His last album 6 it sounded like most of his albums but I loved the songs.

None the less then album has picked up a lot of traction. Multiple music outlets have plastered his music a lot. For example like the instagram account Rap they have a following of 11.8 million people. And that is what is keeping the album relevant. In conclusion the album can be debated but as a big fan I did not like it. Hopefully the next album is better.
