The culinary club’s first meeting was Wednesday, November second. In this club, students can make their own goods at home and bring them to Mr. Hans’ 804 classroom during lunch every Wednesday to share, get constructive criticism, and eat cooked/ baked goods.

Vice President of Culinary Club and Senior Betty Desta says that in the future, they hope to host bake-offs where students can compete for the best dish, depending on the theme.

“Members could bring an item, probably relating to the theme we have set for the week that we’ve announced the previous week, and other members would volunteer to be the judges and taste the desserts and choose who wins, as a friendly competition,” Vice President Desta says.

If cooking and or baking is something you are interested in, the Culinary Club will welcome you with open arms. For any questions or concerns, message their Instagram @chhsculinary.
