On the latest Blue-Origin space trip with an all female flight Crew, including Katy Perry was more of a tourism business rather than a milestone.
Disappointing plenty of people due to the fact that his was more of a wealthy space tourism business rather than a stepping stone related with gender equity. Hardly showing the seriousness exploring space should be. Also showing how we’re not even focused on the problems with Earth right now.
“I love her, but it was a big waste of money.” Grace, a Canyon Hills High School student said. “Like buy food for the homeless, help the animals in Antarctica, it makes me so mad.”

Showing how this trip to space disappointed plenty of people including people from CHHS. Since it was so unnecessary and was filled with mostly well known people, and or celebrities. Which leaves plenty of people angry, and expressing it on social media platforms.
“I feel super connected to love… You never know how much love you have to give until the day you launch.” Katy Perry said, after landing back on Earth.”
Throughout this whole mission, there was nothing significant or important that happened during this trip. For Perry to say that after the trip enraged many people on the internet, since trips like this can just add more of a negative affect to the atmospheric pollution that is happening on Earth already.
Even though this 10 minute mission was a success for the female-crew; they landed safely. It enraged many people, convincing everyone that this was an example of space tourism and wealthy privilege rather than space exploration and gender equity.
