Sonic coming in with their third movie, they’re back and better than ever. This movie has fans saying it’s, “One of the best movies I’ve ever seen by far!” said Eliana Lagomitis. Saga and Paramount really worked their magic together to bring us such an action-packed, entertaining, and funny movie. This movie also starred famous voice actors, Ben Schwarts (as Sonic), Jim Carrey (as Doctor Eggman), and Keanu Reeves (as Shadow). These actors really brought this movie together as their voices connected with their characters and embodied them so well. 

This movie takes place of Shadow waking from his 50-year encapsulated enclosure. He then wreaks havoc when he gets out of the prison facility (after knocking out who knows how many guards) He heads to Tokyo, Japan and it’s up to Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to put an end to Shadow. It definitely won’t be easy.

While the majority of the audience adored this new movie, there still were a few who quite didn’t. Some say that this movie did not incorporate some aspects of the “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” video game. The little key details are not as much to upset the audience by a lot, but those who are fanatics of Sonic might take it a bit to heart. The main reason quite a lot of parents were upset was because they found the movie to have some language they did not want their children to be exposed to. They say the way it was advertised was indicated to be for children, but it was not at all what they were expecting. 

Aside from the commentary of the movie, it has had very good and high reviews, reaching a 4.8-star rating on Google. Whereas for rotten tomatoes, the Sonic 3 movie was rated  87% rotten tomatoes, which is really good being that this movie barely released and has had such positive reviews. Overall, this movie is a must-see!
