Popular K-drama show, “Squid game’s” season 2 finally released after 3 years of waiting; It was worth the wait.
Finally being released, “Squid Game” attracted many viewers that it became one of the Top-10 non-English shows on Netflix. The show allows the audience to feel different emotions at once due to the many surprises introduced in the new season.
“Season two picks up right where I left off.” Lee jung-jae, the actor for Gi-hun, the main character said. “So where he turns away from the flight, Which means that he’s still in his red hair and his new motivation, is to put an end to the game and to bring all the people behind the game to justice.”
“Squid game” season 2 will lead to the main character, Gi-hun, entering the games again somehow, and that’s for the audience to find out when they watch the new season. Every episode that you watch; you just want to continue watching another to see what happens next.
Season 2 did very well with their casting, introducing new stories each character has, making some characters more memorable than others. Each character had their own personalities and motives, different from the characters that were introduced in Season 1. With the characters that were given it was very diverse, each showing the problem that they had and why they joined the games.
The drama that gets handled in Season 2 is very interesting every second, which makes the audience more infatuated and interested in what’s going on and what’s going to happen next. For example, this new season shows new perspectives that weren’t really shown in the first season, showing the perspective from the guards and other people rather than just the people playing the game.
Yes, even though the show’s new season excited many fans and gained plenty of views, there are also some dislikes in the shows. One thing that I didn’t really like after waiting for this season was it ending with a cliffhanger. The last few episodes introduced plenty of new things that the audience wouldn’t expect a cliffhanger while watching. Another thing is the amount of episodes that were given in the second season, which was less than season 1.
Overall through the dislikes and likeable things about this show, this is definitely recommended to watch. “Squid game” season 2 was thrilling to watch after the 3 year wait, because of the new things that you see in the new season. Even though it ended with a cliffhanger and had fewer episodes, it is confirmed that there will be another season that will also hopefully be worth watching.
