The artistic talent of Canyon Hills High School is set to shine as eight of our very own students have been selected to showcase their work at the prestigious San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) Art Show.

This exhibition highlights the creative excellence of students from across the district, providing a platform to celebrate their artistic achievements.
The exhibit will be open to the public from March 12-28, running from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM each evening. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students, families, and community members to come together in support of young artists. Be sure to mark your calendars and show up to support your fellow Rattlers!
The Canyon Hills Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) department continues to produce remarkable talent, as demonstrated by the students featured in this year’s show. Our dedicated art teacher, Mr. Moller, frequently shares his students’ work on his blog, proudly showcasing their creative growth and accomplishments.
Among those representing CHHS are:
– 10th Grade: Eva Soto and Alix Dorvau
– 11th Grade: Shae Gwaltney, Delilah Rosas, Destiny Hemingway, Liz Paddock, and Dylan Maquera
– 12th Grade: Chiaki Daniels
The SDUSD Art Show not only highlights the talents of young artists but also fosters a sense of artistic community within the district. The event features a diverse range of artistic styles and mediums, from paintings, photography, and sculptures, as well as plenty of other mixed media pieces. This event serves as a reminder of the importance of artistic education and the impact creativity has on student development.
As CHHS continues to make its mark in the arts scene, this exhibition stands as a testament to the dedication and passion of our students and educators. Don’t miss the chance to witness their outstanding work—come out and support our Rattlers as they take their place in this remarkable showcase of talent!
