Damar Hamlin collapses on field during game
Buffalo safety Damar Hamlin was in critical condition after he suffering cardiac arrest during the team’s game against the Bengals. CPR was administered on the field for minutes following his tackle of Bengals wide receiver, Tee Higgins.
Around midway through the opening quarter led the league to postpone the game about 90 minutes after kickoff, and the NFL said in a statement that the game would resume the following week.
Not long after the incident at the game, he updated his instagram with a picture of him in a hospital bed, showing that he’s recovering okay.
Since then he’s been consistently updating his recovery and is slowly getting back into the game.
