Hello Canyon Hills Families!

Canyon Hills conducts a school-wide survey about student health and well-being called the JED High School Student Survey.

Your student is being asked to participate, along with students at CHHS and high schools across the country. Your student’s responses will help improve our understanding of how schools can support student mental health more effectively. Your student’s responses will be kept confidential and secure and will not be connected with their name, email, or any other information that identifies them.

Opt-Out Consent: If you would not like for your student to participate in the survey, please fill out the consent form below by this Friday 11/25/22. If we do not hear from you, your student will be invited to participate.

Students Lead Professional Development for Teachers!

The above picture is from today’s Professional Development. On campus, we have a Leader in Me program in which students organize and advocate for things they want to see at school and work together to make it happen. It’s a great way to have students make their experience here amazing and exactly how they want it. They are learning it takes hard work! To get everyone on board, they wanted to run a Professional Development for teachers to get the ball rolling. The staff was very impressed and the students did amazing! Here are a few more pictures.

A Latino Cub was formed and is packed full of students! They invited us in to play La Loteria which is like BINGO! The students had a great time!

Our Annual Food Drive Starts NOW!

Booster Clubs are created by each “Class Of” to raise funds to create unforgettable experiences for your students. Items include caps for graduation, prom ticket prices lowered, organizing Grad Night, and having fundraisers to pull this off. They work very hard and need your support. Please go to your student’s “Class Of” website and join the registry to stay up to date on all things going on with your student’s graduating class.
